Description
Reference connections are not objects in the same sense that the other connection types are. They simply provide a means of associating objects by reference. They are used in the following ways;
- Exposing public objects via circuit connection points
- Associating devices with active objects
- Extending connection faces on to conduits or labels
The following example shows a reference connection from a thread (Log) to a device (File) and also exposing a store to external connectors by referencing it from a circuit definition pin (Log).
